GRADUATION - Congratulations to ISBA's Graduating Class - Spring 2006

We did it! Another semester has passed us by, and again I am even more enlightened and feel extremely fortunate to be given the opportunity to spend these past few weeks with such amazing people... Off they go now; back to their lives, now with new skills, sweet memories and lifelong friendships. From my point of view, it has been a beautiful manifestation of change among many of the students. This learning experience and the environment can bring such growth in each individual. An immersion in woodwork, being exposed to new challenges and gaining kinship with a variety of different people, with many differences from your own- this is such a unique experience that will change you and your perspective in life , work, and play for the better. When the images and memories fade into picture frames in your mind, I hope you remember with a wide smile...

Billy- What a treat knowing you! Your are capable and creative, hard working, brave and full of life. I know you and your family will have a wonderful adventure on the road and in finding your Zen.

John- You are inspirational. You have a great work ethic and a natural ability towards your woodworking. You will go far. We all know it...

Rob- Strong, and full of energy and big smiles. It is amazing the beetle survived the many poundings with Rob! Rob- when you believe in yourself, success follows. Let?s see where this belief takes you.

Lorne- Laid back, witty, amiable and a delight. Great at everything he does. Wherever your woodworking path takes you Lorne, I hope you enjoy every step. It was a real pleasure...

Helius- our man with the ?Golden Chisel?. What a talent you are Helius. Whoever you work for is truly lucky to have such a gifted person. You are creative and masterful. Always let us know what projects you are doing in life and work. Congratulations Helius on achieving valedictorian!

Jeong- Woo and Hyun- Il- Our Team Korea. You both were extremely hearty and very polite. You worked very well together, and despite the language barrier, you achieved many skills and manifested beautiful work. Good luck on your journey!

Philippe Riendeau- Intelligent and charismatic, driven and hard working. What will Phillipe do with all his interwoven skills? Let?s see...

Dwight Martin- DELIGHTFUL! This man has so much to give and to teach, he inspired us all at different times. It was a blessing meeting you Dwight, along with your wife Kathy and our mascot Taffie. Take care always my friend...

Philip Kettles- It is always nice having you here at ISBA. You are energetic, dynamic and always in great spirits. Come see us anytime...

Adam Hay- Your English humour was wonderful and your big grins and hearty laugh will stay with me for a long time. Best of luck to you!

Tim Hache- You have taken steps to change your life to a more simplistic approach that will reward you in greatness. I see a beautiful future for you. Enjoy the process and reap the successes!

Ian Heaps- Wow! Your were integral part of my growth within this course. You began the course a completely different person, and it was such an amazing manifestation into this person so alive and with a renewed perspective on how you want to live. Grasp this life of yours Ian. We will always stay in touch...

I was so happy to meet you all and I wish you many adventures and successes.
